Course description

This course focuses on developing language skills for early intermediate level students of English. Language development is combined with building improving skills transferable to academic subjects. Students are progressively able to use the English language for social and academic purposes. Vocabulary building and grammar concepts involving the application of basic grammar tenses in speaking and writing, are consolidated in combination with fiction and non-fiction reading to acquire reading skills and comprehension, as well as to develop and enhance writing skills. Emphasis is placed on the four domains of speaking, listening, reading and writing. The course prepares students with skills corresponding to B1 level of CEFR.

  • Summer 2025 Session: June 23 - July 11

If enrollment in a course fails to reach the minimum number of participants required for the class to run, the class will be cancelled and tuition will be reimbursed.
