Course description

Students will dive into the fascinating properties of the universe, exploring its vast scale, origins, and evolution. Key topics include the properties of the universe, formation of the universe, galaxies, stars, solar systems, and the earth, moon, and sun system.  Students will also study humanity's ongoing exploration of space, examining both past and future missions that shape our understanding of the cosmos. Through engaging online lectures, interactive activities, virtual labs, and discussions, students will develop a deeper appreciation of our place in the universe while mastering essential concepts in astronomy.
