Giannoulis, Goulielmos Fanourios, OLP Test Supervising Aide

Goulielmos-Fanourios Giannoulis (William) was born and raised in Athens, Greece. He began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from The American College of Greece (DEREE), where he also minored in Theatre Arts. In 2017, he relocated to the United States to pursue his master’s degree in Special Education from Fordham University in New York. 

He has accumulated a wealth of teaching experience in various institutions both in New York and Athens where he worked with students requiring specialized educational support as well as volunteered teaching Theater Arts and English as a Second Language (ESL). His experience extends to Greece, where he volunteered at a private institution in Athens, teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) and theater arts to children. His private tutoring work further highlights his ability to tailor instruction to individual student needs, particularly in preparing them for critical language certification exams.

Furthermore, Mr. Giannoulis is committed to continuous professional development and. has participated in numerous workshops and seminars on various educational topics, including autism, child abuse identification, physical education, and the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA). These experiences underscore his dedication to creating safe, inclusive, and effective learning environments.

Mr. Giannoulis brings a multicultural perspective to his teaching. His ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds, combined with his strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of education, makes him a versatile and compassionate educator. His unique blend of linguistic and creative studies allows him to integrate language acquisition with artistic expression, offering a distinctive and engaging approach to teaching.

This is his first year at ACS Athens where he joined the OLP Department as the Middle and Academy Test Accommodations Aide.
