On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, ACS Athens hosted Contest #1 of the Mathematical Olympiads for Elementary and Middle School Students (MOEMS). This competition aims to ignite students’ enthusiasm for problem solving and mathematics, enhance their understanding and application of mathematical concepts, foster creative thinking, and lay a solid foundation for future academic success in mathematics.

The ACS Athens Elementary and Middle School were proudly represented by a total of 60 students from grades 4 - 8!  Each participant embraced the competition with effort and motivation, tackling challenging problems, while cultivating the skills and mindset of a capable problem solver. The event provided an excellent opportunity for students to experience the excitement of mathematical exploration in a supportive and stimulating environment.
