Students had the opportunity to explore original exhibits discovered in Greece through excavations, dating back to the Bronze Age and the Classical era, during a recent field trip to the National Archaeological Museum of Athens. Students in Ms. Gaki’s Social Studies class had a unique educational experience to marvel at exhibits that date back thousands of years and relate those to their lessons in class. While at the museum, they worked on a booklet containing activities like drawing, matching, answering questions, and solving riddles which helped them observe, evaluate, and apply information. Upon returning, students engaged in classroom discussions about their experience, sharing what they enjoyed most and presenting an artifact from their booklet as evidence of their learning. Can you solve one of those riddles that the students were able to solve?

I am a woman, I am a bird,

I am wise and I am absurd.

If you know the riddle I say

walk and pass and live the day!

Who am I?
