Dr. Iris Efthymiou

Dr. Iris Efthymiou is a thought leader, university lecturer, and author of 17 books, specializing in AI ethics and behavioural health economics. Prof. Constantinos Filis

University Professor, International Relations

Dr. Filis is an Associate Professor at the American College of Greece and Director of the ACG Institute of Global Affairs. He has held key roles at Panteion University’s Institute of International Relations and served as a research fellow at Oxford University. He lectures at top Greek defense institutions and is involved with multiple global organizations, including the Delphi Economic Forum and the Hellenic Olympic Committee. An expert in international relations, energy, and geoeconomics, he has authored several books on geopolitics, Russia, Turkey, and European affairs.

John Haramidis

Yiannis has been covering international news for 14 years. He studied translation and interpretation in France and began his career at SKAI before moving to Open and then MEGA. From the onset of the war in Ukraine, he reported from Mariupol during the Russian invasion. He speaks four languages.

Dr. Antonis Karampelas

ACS Athens Faculty, Science and Technology, Division Chair of Technology

Dr. Antonios Karampelas holds a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the University of Athens and has extensive research and teaching experience in astrophysics and education. He significantly contributed to ESA's Gaia mission and currently teaches IB Physics, AI, and STEAM at ACS Athens. An accomplished researcher with over 80 publications and 17,000 citations, he actively promotes AI integration in education, coordinates various academic programs, and led student projects including space experiments aboard Blue Origin's flights. He serves as a Fellow at ACS Athens and co-coordinates the STEM and AI Working Group for the Hellenic Educational Society of STEM. Dr. Karampelas is a strong proponent of the inclusion of Generative AI and Learning Analytics in Education, and the development of AI curricula.

Stella Kasdagli

Stella Kasdagli co-founded Women On Top, a Greek nonprofit for women’s professional development and gender equality, and inc.lude, a DEI consulting agency. Nikos Papandreou

Dr. Peggy Pelonis, raised in Los Angeles, is a distinguished educator and licensed psychotherapist specializing in leadership transformation and professional growth. With extensive experience teaching at K-12 schools and universities—including California State University Fullerton, the University of LaVerne, and ICASSI—she emphasizes cultivating healthy minds and bodies to intentionally transform communities. Her doctoral research from the University of Bath explored international school leadership and professional development. Certified in school counseling and leadership from Harvard, Dr. Pelonis is a frequent international speaker and author, notably contributing to topics such as resilience, change management, educational leadership, and transformative education.
