Mattar, Christelle, Academy Guidance Specialist

Christelle Mattar holds dual citizenship from Germany and Lebanon. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the American University of Beirut, where she also completed a teaching diploma in Secondary Science Education. She began her teaching career at Hariri High School in Lebanon, where she taught Biology for two years, including one year as both an assistant teacher and an intern teacher. During this time, she also served as a supply teacher at ACS Beirut.

After her teaching experience, she pursued a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and Psychotherapy at the American College of Greece. During her Master's placement, she worked at a college counseling center, providing socio-emotional support to college students through individual counseling sessions. She continued to volunteer at the counseling center for one year, gaining further experience in supporting students with personal and academic challenges.

Currently, she works as an Academy Guidance Specialist at ACS Athens, where she supports students in managing their academic schedules and planning for their future. She assists students throughout the university application process, helping them explore options, complete applications, and make informed decisions about their next steps. In addition to academic guidance, she provides socio-emotional support to help students navigate the challenges of these important years. She is committed to helping students achieve their academic and personal goals by offering guidance and support as they prepare for the future.
