Embrock, Susan, Faculty, K-5 Elementary Technology
Ms. Susan Embrock received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from South Dakota State University in 1993 and completed her secondary teaching certificate at Dakota State University in 1994. Alongside her mathematics degree, she also has an emphasis on computer science and economics.
For the past 30 years, she has worked in the private sector as a computer programmer at the Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center for the United States Geological Survey. With this extensive experience, she hopes to incorporate her expertise into her instruction of technology, confident that her background, coupled with her enthusiasm for education, will positively impact her students.
Over the past 30 years, she has been actively involved in the education system, serving as a substitute teacher, volunteer, and parent. Drawing from her experience at EROS as a trainer across various software and tool platforms, she is eager to share her knowledge and offer guidance on constantly evolving technologies.
She is excited to create a positive, fun environment where she can teach young students about technology and help them learn to be responsible digital citizens.
