Dr. Chen was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. She earned a B.S. in Medical Laboratory and Biotechnology from Chung Shan Medical University in 1998, followed by an M.A. and Ph.D. in Immunology from National Taiwan University in 2007. During her doctoral studies, she mentored graduate and doctoral candidates, providing guidance in experimental methods, grant writing, and academic thesis development in both Chinese and English.

Her professional background extends beyond academia. Dr. Chen has served as a European representative for a Taiwanese pharmaceutical company and worked extensively as a professional Chinese-English translator. These roles strengthened her cross-cultural communication and global perspective, but it was through teaching that she found her true calling. Before joining ACS Athens, she gained valuable experience teaching Chinese to both children and adults in Athens, Greece, further refining her expertise in language pedagogy.

Since 2018, Dr. Chen has taught Chinese Language and Literature in both Middle School and High School at ACS Athens. As World Language Coordinator, she focuses on curriculum alignment, instructional innovation, and program development across languages, ensuring cohesive, rigorous, and inclusive learning pathways for students. She also previously advised the Chinese-Greek Intercultural Club, fostering intercultural dialogue and global citizenship.

Dr. Chen is dedicated to advancing world language education, inspiring students not only to achieve academic excellence but also to embrace empathy, cultural understanding, and lifelong learning.
