Mitakou, Katerina, Theater and Dance
Ms Katerina Mitakou was born and raised in Greece. She studied Performing Arts at Stella Mann College in London where she gained her Dance Teacher's Diploma and her Performer's Diploma. She continued her studies in choreology, choreography, classical ballet, modern dance and musical theater in London and New York. After succeeding in completing postgraduate studies at the Istd, she was honored to become a Tutor of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing at a very young age.
She has danced in many theater productions in London and Athens, appeared in films and has choreographed herself a wide range of performances including an assistant choreographer position in Mama Mia the original film.
She has trained actors and dancers at a
professional level as well as young people. She has been in charge of all the dance classes and dance performances at ACS Athens for the last fifteen years. She is currently presenting a TV show as well as choreographing for theater productions.
