Rontogiannis, Labrini, Varsity Girls Volleyball
Ms. Labrini Rontogiannis was born and raised in Montreal, Canada and moved to Athens in 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology at McGill University and a Bachelor of Education, specialization in Science and English Literature, also from McGill. Ms. Rontogiannis has also received a M.Ed. specializing in Educational Technology through an online program at the University of Calgary.
Ms. Rontogiannis has been at ACS since 2005 and she takes pride in getting involved in all aspects of student life; both in and out of the classroom. She has worked out of a number of Academic Divisions and areas at ACS, not excluding classroom teaching.
Outside of the classroom, Ms. Rontogiannis is proud to have always been involved extensively with the Athletic department. She has coached Girls Junior Varsity and Varsity Volleyball teams for a number of years, at ACS Athens and in Montreal Public Schools. If she’s not coaching or volunteering for athletic events, she’s on the sidelines cheering on the ACS Lancers. Her dedication to athletics extends outside school where she earned certification as an official indoor cycling (Spinning) instructor. Her most recent athletic endeavor is long distance biking.
This year, she is excited to be joining the Athletics Department as the Manager of Athletics and Recreational Activities.
