Polychronopoulos, Antonis, JV Girls Basketball, MS Boys Basketball

Mr. Polychronopoulos was born and raised in Athens, Greece. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education & Sports Science from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Basketball (2016). He also has acquired the A category Basketball Coach Certification from the General Secretariat of Sports. Additionally, he holds a Master's degree in «Exercise and Quality of Life» with the orientation: Organization of Physical Activity and Sports Recreation from the Democritus University of Thrace.

He also has experience as a semi-professional basketball player in the third national category, with achievements such as second place in the U16 National Championship and in the U21 Attica Tournament.

Antonis is passionate about teaching. He has worked for years as a basketball coach in several basketball clubs (Olympiakos, Cholargos). He has also been an academy supervisor for the past two years. Furthermore, he has worked as a fitness coach in pre and elementary school programs organized by various municipalities. Last but not least, he has been an instructor in a variety of sports camps, including the ACS Summer Camps since 2021.

This year he will be teaching Physical Education in the Elementary School. In 2024, Antonis took on new roles as the coach for the JV girls' basketball team and the instructor for the Orienteering after-school program.
