Salary
ACS Athens offers a competitive salary package that reflects the years of experience and the academic credentials a faculty member has accrued. The salary package is based on the Union's salary scales.
BA/BS: 25.000 - 28.000 euros, MA/MS: 27.000 - 30.000 euros, PhD: 30.000 - 33.000 euros
Host & USA Country Taxes
U.S.-hired Teachers may be exempted from paying Greek & US income taxes for the first three (3) years of employment according to current bi-lateral agreement between the USA and Greece.
Transitional Allowance
ACS Athens offers a transitional monthly allowance of 500 Euros.
Airfare At Start
Air transportation for the Teacher and the dependent(s) is provided at the start of contract.
Health Care
Group health insurance plan is provided with 100% of the premiums paid by the school.
Pre-existing conditions and mental health conditions are not covered.
Retirement
U.S.-hired teachers can join a 401(k) retirement program. The School contributes 5% of the staff member's gross annual salary for the first three years. After three years, contributions increase to 16.25% of the annual salary, with 1.25% from the faculty member and 15% from the School.

Free Access To All Museums In Country
Faculty is eligible to a museum pass which provides free access to all museums and archeological sites in the country.
Immigration Services
Residence permit processes and legal support are offered to the US hires for the entire duration of employment.
Social Security
The School will provide U.S. Social Security benefits to U.S. citizen employees according to the regulations of the U.S. Government and bilateral agreements with the Greek Government.

Time Off
Faculty is eligible for annual time-off according to Greek law regulations (Personal Leave, Sick Leave, Professional Development Leave, etc). The working days per academic year are 185.
Student Tuition and Fees
The School's Tuition and Registration Fees are waived for children of U.S. hired teachers provided the fees are not paid by Government, business, or any other agency. Waivers do not apply to other charges such as capital, transportation, day care, endowment fund, or other additional fees.
Relocation Allowance
Upon reporting for duty, the Employee receive a one-off lump sum Arrival Relocation Allowance (2.641,23 Euro).

ACS Athens offers a plethora of wellness programs throughout the year that support physical and mental health. There is free access to the gym and swimming pool.
